About K. A Parker & Associates, Inc.
The company's Chairman and President, Mr. Kim Parker has thirty plus years of business, teaching and project management experience in the computer, networking and electronics fields. He has consulted with client company's senior management about software and hardware products and product development. Mr. Parker has been Chairman and President of K. A Parker & Associates, Inc. for the last two and one-half years. Previously, he was Chairman and President of Business Process International, Inc. In those capacities he has successfully managed the corporate financial and legal affairs. Having trained over 10,000 clients he has influenced members of every major corporation, every military and government branch of service in fundamental computer networking principals. He has also developed course and test materials for these and other related computer networking and programming courses. He is a published author of several articles on technical subjects and has developed and taught courses on Process Modeling and Project Management at North Carolina State University. As a middle manager and senior project manager for two large international telecommunications firms he successfully managed the consolidation of two major manufacturing facilities using process modeling techniques, an international data repository over the Internet, several local area network implementations, financial, manufacturing and world-wide ordering software. He also developed corporate manufacturing process, an enterprise model, networking and personal computer standards. In previously owned businesses he has had the opportunity to consult with many small and medium-sized businesses to gain a fundamental and practical business perspective. After receiving his Bachelor of Engineering degree, majoring in Electrical Engineering and Math, from Youngstown State University, he went on to work in nuclear power contract engineering. Always the entrepreneur, he funded his college education by running an electronic repair business. His professional associations have included IEEE, DAMA and ad-hoc programming groups for Visual Basic and Access. He has spoken at DPMA, ASM, AIIM and DAMA associations.
